New Rules Of The Game Penalize Websites!

New Rules Of The Game Penalize Websites!

Some sites that once ranked in the top 10, have fallen off the map with search engine rankings plummeting faster than than the economy. The reason why some sites saw their rankings tank in the last year was because of Google's algorithm update that introduced Penguin and Panda into the equation.

Check out article here!

Why are sites getting penalized?
At one time, website owners thought it was a good idea to "keyword stuff" their site by using popular keywords in the hopes of attracting additional traffic.

Keywords like "Justin Bieber" and "Sex" were scattered throughout their site so that when a surfer typed in those search field items, their site would magically pop up, therefore increasing traffic. Some site owners even went to the extreme of copying keywords from their competitors and pasting those keywords into their sites hoping they would snag some of their customers action.

Those days are gone!
Those sites took a huge hit in sales because their page rankings took a nose-dive thanks to the wrath of Google.
